Happy Valley, Hong Kong｜Zagin Soba

Not a super fan of chicken soup/soba, but imo Zagin is the best in town. Would prefer ramen over dipping, coz the latter one reli depends on the hotness of the soup, maybe it’s because of the too chilly air conditioning, soup is not as hot as I prefer for dipping noodles.

I believe this is the top of all chicken soup ramen. The soup is thick and flavourful, but not salty at all. It tastes like a extremely authentic chicken cream soup, packed with umami taste and probably flavour from a whole chicken. The noodles are chewy and perfectly cooked.The soup can adhere with the noodles, so that you can taste the soup while eating the noodles. The pork and chicken slices are soft and tastes fantastic. I will definitely spend $160 to eat this bowl of ramen because it is just too good to be true.

Interesting, unique ramen. Rich, with lots of character. Broth is complex and full-bodied. Recommend!
