The most prominent noodles in Hong Kong might not be boat noodles, but it plays an important role in Thai cuisine. I happened to walk past Tiew Ruea Tor Charm in Causeway Bay that specializes in boat noodles and Thai food on a weekday afternoon but the restaurant was packed with customers. Then I thought I had to give it a try! Boat x Cart Noodles (4 Toppings) $56 Customized menu. You may choose typical ingredients from boat noodles to cart noodles. They offer different kinds of noodles, spicy level, what to have or without etc. The beef bone soup base was intense and filled with herbal flavors. The crispy pork skin was thick and crumbly, just make sure don't soak it in the soup for too long. The lo sui beef brisket and pork intestines were very flavorful and nicely marinated. The raddish was sweet and soft. Thai Skewer Platter $128 5 kinds of skewers - Beef, pork, chicken, squid and pineapple. The amount of meat was generous. Nicely seasoned and had a good char. The pineapple was refreshingly sweet and sour like yogurt. Deep-fried Chicken Leg $32 The waitress provided plastic hand gloves, so detail-minded but I did not use because I wanted to save the environment as much as possible. Served with sweet and sour sauce. It was such a HUGE chicken leg! Sizzling hot. So crispy and juicy. The batter was not too thin nor thick. The chicken was fried perfectly - so smooth, tender and mild-flavored. Milk Tea +$14 with noodles set Sweetened condensed milk tea. They already mixed the milk tea in advance with the right amount of ingredients and sugar. Not too heavy, which went well with the meal. Morning Glory with Secret Sauce $14 Could you imagine a plate of veggies costed only $14? Tossed with a slightly sweet and savory sauce, the stems were still crunchy and green. The price is soooo cheap for such good quality! Convenient location, efficient service, cosy and intimate restaurant. So unbelievable to have such a great deal on one of the priciest lands in Hong Kong!

Absolute yummy food and fantastic pricing. We have 船皇湯麵(Thai noodle soup with beef, pork & chicken) and it is lovely. The deep fried shrimp roll was crispy , and the chicken wings are brilliant. Love the way how they serve my ice drink. Food arrived very quickly and friendly service. Highly recommend and would come again. Cash only!

Holy noodles of wow! What a find. Great place, great food. Ordered the stirred noodles with chicken and a lime soda. The result was unexpected but the taste was exceptional. Bilingual menu, table service, choice of chili heat, affordably priced considering the location, nice seating area and comfortable. Definitely returning.
