Quarry Bay, Hong Kong｜Shugetsu (Quarry Bay)

Great tasting ramen, have yet to try their tsukemen though. I got the ramen with charred pork belly and the soup base and pork belly are standouts. The soup base was flavourful but not overly salty where I had to drink a gallon of water to compensate. The pork belly was quite fatty, so it might not be for everyone. Very limited seating, so go at an off hour (I went at 2pm to skip the lunch crowd).

It's just outside my office, but have never managed to check it out because of the long queue during lunch hours. Finally managed to avoid the queue and tried the food - it was 100% worth it. Delicious housemade ramen with kurobuta pig belly and spring onions served in a sumptuous broth. Though it's quite pricey for lunch (HKD113 for the ramen that I chose), I would definitely go back once in a while when I am craving ramen.

Absolutely delicious everytime. Make sure to get there before noon to beat the lunch time rush because it's worth it!
