Quarry Bay, Hong Kong｜檳城蝦麵店

This restaurant used to have a few branches across Hong Kong, and now the one in Quarry Bay is one of the few remaining. The curry soup base here is so good. If you've never had curry soup with noodles, this is the place to do it. The soup is fragrant, flavorful and has great body. The toppings and noodles you can choose all vary so it's all up to a matter of personal taste which ones you get. The shop is located in a small alleyway and may bit a little harder to find that most places. The shop front and interior is unassuming, but once you sit down and try the curry soup, you'll know this place is amazing. On a side note, we did also enjoy their kaya toast; tasted great but it was a bit pricey considering it was just kaya toast.

I ordered curry lasagna shredded chicken 😉$58 It means half oil noodles and half rice noodles. The taste is the same as what I ate in Malaysia The soup is very rich and very fragrant curry taste😜 Deep-fried tofu is full of soup, so addictive Big push! Set menu with white coffee, strong and sweet good drink~

Closest to the real deal curry laksa you can find in HK, pricing is slightly on the higher side compared to sam gor, the extra sambal sauce can be provided upon request, they call it spicy sauce. It's my staple laksa shop whenever I am in Quarry Bay!
