Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong｜On-Yasai (Tsim Sha Tsui)

Visited in September 20. Ordered the premium set lunch at 148 for lunch. The service was good. Staffs were friendly and environment was clean too. The staffs refills my tea quite frequently when I finished. The ordering process with phone was smooth too. Ordered the konbu soup. Not expecting much from the soup as japanese hot pot does not put much focus on the broth. The meat and veggies meanwhile was very fresh and tasty. The condiments on the side was sesame paste and vinegar was also very flavourful. Worth a visit if nearby.

On yasai is delicious hot pot. Order your base soup and meat, veg and cook away at your table. Wagyu beef is excellent, thinly cut it cooks in seconds. You may want a lot of this.... Sapporo beer was on a free refill offer too. 👍

On-Yasai is a high-standard hot pot restaurant. The food is fresh and tasty, and the atmosphere is more sophisticated than most of the hotpot places in Hong Kong. The level of personalisation is fantastic. You can choose absolutely every ingredient individually to make your own personal version of the most delicious hotpot meal. The other side of the coin is that you have to pay for every single item (even herbs, or pepper...), only the soy sauce is free at the table. But, it's worth the above average price.
