Sham Shui Po, Hong Kong｜Sharp Star Restaurant

My second time here for gathering. Local restaurant in Sham Shum Po good for group gathering. Good food, good atmosphere and good price. You could find some very local traditional dishes such as Steamed stirred fried mud crab with spring onion and ginger on glutinous rice in bamboo basket (紅尋糯米), Deep fried tarp cake stuffed with shrimp paste (芋卷) etc. If you are looking something traditional local dishes, you should visit

One has to visit such restaurant to really enjoy the essence of Hong Kong-style Cantonese food. Not super fancy high end restaurant kind but heartwarming, stomach filling without breaking the bank kind. All dishes ordered were good and many came out with a bit of fanfare like the razor clams on hot plate. Service was prompt and friendly and the Osmanthus jelly dessert were served free at the end of meal. Be warn, this place was hopping and out on a Friday night when we visit. So not exactly a quiet meal, romantic kind of place.
