Sashimi was fresh, salad and side dishes each had its own balanced flavors. Delicious fatty unagi prepared to perfection. Provided more sauce if needed for the rice. I did not have reservation and showed up at 11am when they just opened so there was no wait. Highly recommended!

Best Unagi dishes I have tried. Do try their limited Eel Guts. A bit chewy, yet soft and rich, enjoy without thinking too much 😂

One of the top hitsumabushi restaurants near Nishiki Market in Kyoto. The unagi is crunchy and delicious! The clam soup tasted good and wish to have more. Out of the 3 ways to eat this dish, I personally enjoy it in chazuka (tea rice). It gives a refreshing taste to the unagi. Service is very good and friendly. Their staff can speak a bit of English.
