Atsugi, Kanagawa, Japan｜Japanese style cuisine Okame

One of the best places for eel!! The sauce wasn't as thick and sweet as normal BBQ eel (unagi) :) My kids enjoyed the green tea soba with tempura.

So delicious and healthy!The pomelo jelly is so good，if they sell big size I will buy it^_^

I happened to notice this store when I moved nearby, and it seems like it's a store that road bikers stop by because it had hooks for road bikes, so I stopped by for lunch yesterday after becoming a citizen of Atsugi. This is a great deal for 4,800 yen for grilled eel and rice! It seems that the water in the store is also pumped, and since there is a sake brewery right upstream from this store, I think the water is also wonderful. My sister and her husband from Hawaii are coming to Japan soon, so I'm thinking of bringing them along. It's about a 20 minute walk from my house, so I think I'll just walk there and enjoy a drink.
