Best unagi I’ve ever had… so simple, yet so perfectly done. It’s a small place, but comfortable and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit if you love unagi!

To celebrate longevity, I ordered two eel haori-ju ❨ Kanto-style + Kansai-style ❩ and husband-and-wife eel ❨ kabayaki + shirayaki ❩. The photo is of the couple. They were happy with it, but they seemed to have a bit of a hard time with the Kansai-style crispy eel, so for elderly people with bad teeth, it might be better to just try the Kanto-style eel. Although I was given a private room, I was disappointed that I could hear all the noises and voices from the kitchen.

It was too delicious! I'm not much of an eel fan, but I was surprised at how delicious it was. It wasn't my first time eating eel bowl in my life and it was heavy, but I ate it easily.
