Foreign-produced eel that is offered at low prices at supermarkets and cheap restaurant chains tends to be disguised with sweet sauce, but the eel here is Shizuoka's common water eel, so it has no smell or bitterness. Rather than relying on sweetness, the eel's own fluffy sweetness and the occasional flavor of soy sauce made it light and delicious. This time, I wanted to eat something that was worth the price, so I ordered the ``old man'', which was the second one from the top (because the top one was 1 and a half fish, which was a lot). To be honest, I didn't think it was very meaty, but perhaps that is also a characteristic of Kyosui eel. We had grilled liver, liver wasa, and uzaku before the eel was ready. It was delicious. It is a friendly, kind and comfortable shop. I'm envious of people who live in Nakano-Shimbashi, where there's an eel restaurant like this nearby. It was a feast
