More Comments at Google MapWow where to start. We fell in love with Jisaku 2 years ago and recently had our wedding here (waited out COVID restrictions). The place is now part of my life, I love it. Beautiful, meandering and idyllic. The coy pond and garden are just spectacular. All the staff are wonderful too (special shout-out to Negi San). The food is also amazing, very traditional which could be a shock to those used to Westernised Japanese food).
For my in-law’s celebration of their 3 and 5 year old children, we came for a formal family lunch. The ambiance and atmosphere was superlative. The menu, served luxuriously over a several hours, told an elegant story with flavor and presentation. All while enjoying. A beautiful view of the restaurant’s famous carp (鯉) ponds and gardens. A special place for special occasions. Highly recommended.
1000 / 10 If you think you’ve had good Kaiseki, think again! Cuz this place will definitely blow your mind 🤯 Very historic and traditional, this establishment has been hosting lunches and dinners for some of the most influential figures in history given their uber delicious and well-presentable dishes, topped with above and beyond omotenashi. We were escorted to a large and private dining room with a view of the pond consisting of over 100+ koi fish across the country. If that is not mind blowing, i don’t know what is… Where in Tokyo can you find such land to make it all happen?! Can’t pick a star dish as everything was just too good. 10/10!
