More Comments at Google MapFantastic Okonomiyaki spot that is hidden in Hanakogaei. Fuchu yaki is a locally established food of Fuchu city, Hiroshima which is hard to come by these days. The beef fat melts into the yaki and create crispy fragrant crust to it. There’s only 4 Fuchu Yaki restaurant in Tokyo and this must be one of those I highly recommend where the chef is still passionate about his cuisine and stuck through it till this day. If you ask me if there’s any differences between this and Kansai, I think you have to try to know why I made time to write my review here.
This is a local gourmet restaurant that specializes in Hiroshima-yaki called Hiroshima Fuchu-yaki. Apparently there are only 4 of them in Tokyo, and their specialty is that they add minced meat to the noodles and make it crunchy with the oil from the minced meat. There is a basic menu, but most people like to add toppings to suit their tastes. Even though it was my first time trying Hiroshima-yaki, I was able to have a pleasant time as they kindly taught me their recommendations and how to eat them. It takes about 20-30 minutes per plate to complete, but as I talked with the chef, it was completed in no time, and being able to see it right in front of the iron plate made me feel excited. We recommend going to the counter where you can watch the food being made right in front of your eyes. There were no particular problems such as oil splashing, but please be careful just in case.
It's a beautiful okonomiyaki restaurant with a glass wall. It was a shop that served B-class local okonomiyaki in Fuchu City, Hiroshima Prefecture, called Fuchu Yaki. Unlike regular Hiroshima-yaki, this okonomiyaki has a very crispy and crispy texture. In addition to okonomiyaki, a la carte dishes are also delicious and very satisfying. For drinks, Sapporo's red lager was placed, which was a very happy miscalculation for me personally. The sour system is also rare, and it was delicious with a strong taste. The owner is also very personable, and although I was seated at a table this time, I would have liked to eat at the counter if I had the chance. It can be difficult because you have children.
