Chuo City, Tokyo, Japan｜Moheji Hanare

I was in the mood for もんじゃ焼き and had never been to this area, so gave it a try. First of all, the street is awesome an aptly named…there are so many options! After a quick search, I decided upon もへじ based on reviews and it did not disappoint. The spicy cod roe option with cheese is an absolute must. The okonomiyaki they make in the back and bring to you, and it was delicious as well. Service was good and prices were good. There are several of these right in the same area. I highly recommend coming here.

I had such a great time at this place. There seem to be four locations of Moheji on this street and we were so confused. This one is a relatively smaller location, right next to the first one (本店), but felt more cozy. Though we waited for a bit... Guess you can reserve on apps? We had pork kimchi monja and mentaiko monja. Both were very tasty. Adding cheese or mochi is strongly recommended! We loved it. All the staffs were incredibly skillful and helpful. One of the staffs named Mirae, if I remember correctly, could speak Korean and she was very kind and friendly (thank you again for the help). They had English menus and other staffs tried to use translate apps to help us as well.

Our waitress, Megumi, was so kind to us and helped us navigate the menu in English! Had the seasonal Squid with ink Butter, their recommended Spicy caviar and mochi Monja! Absolutely delicious and wonderful running by this restaurant!! 🤤🤤🥰🥰
