First time trying monjya and it was superb. A lighter alternative to okonomiyaki and goes very well with ice cold beer. All the servers were very friendly and ready to recommend what to order.

Really great place, solo travelling and a bit apprehensive (no Japanese) staff welcoming, didn’t really know what I’d got myself in for but it was great having the Monjya cooked in front on me! Delicious too.

Reasonably priced okonomaki restaurant in the heart of Kappabashi was scrumptious and the customer service was on point. They can also cook the food for you on the griddle in front of you or try for yourself. The small restaurant is only a block away from the Kappabashi kitchen street. They also have an English menu to order from!
