This by far the most gaijin friendly restaurant in Japan. They really make an effort to be so welcoming I have live in Japan for 20 years and again, the best. Food is amazing wine list average, mixed drinks amazing, owner and staff out of this world. All try and speak English and don't make you feel bad if there is some language barrier. Really cannot say enough good things about it. No paid advertising hahaha just was blown away by the kindness. Rare find.
