More Comments at Google MapThis is the best Thai restaurant in Kanagawa prefecture! It’s extremely authentic. The service can be a little slow but the food is definitely worth the wait. The menu is large but not overwhelming. Everything we’ve tried is terrific. I’ve been going here for about 6 years.
As the name suggests, Ethan Shokudo is a small cafeteria serving traditional food from the Ethan region of Thailand. This is more than just a restaurant, it is a special place that makes visitors feel special. It comes from the love and passion that the owner and his wife put into each dish. If you want to spend a little special time in your casual daily life, Ethan Shokudo will make that wish come true. The ambience of this restaurant is warm and inviting, as if you were at your own dining table. As soon as you step inside the restaurant, the aroma of home-cooked Thai food spreads out, and although you are in an unfamiliar land, for some reason you feel nostalgic and feel at ease. The cuisine is authentic enough to be endorsed by the Thai government. The exquisite combination of spiciness and sweetness will make you feel as if you have flown to Thailand. Many of the dishes created by the couple pursue the essence of Thai cuisine and strive to maximize its deliciousness. Ethan Shokudo is a place filled with sincerity, offering a warm time and space to all who visit and filling their hearts with delicious food. It is full of genuine affection and passion that the couple has worked hard to create every day.
visit for lunch Order the lunch set khao man gai. The radish soup arrived immediately after ordering, the sweetness of the radish, and the coriander on top is a good accent. After that, the khao man gai comes and when you eat it from the rice, it is well seasoned, and it is rice, but it is delicious. The chicken is moist and soft and you can feel the taste of chicken. Also, the accompanying sauce was spicy and more spicy than I expected, which I liked. Halfway through, I added seasonings with chili peppers to change the taste and finished the meal. Seeing that it was finished, the clerk offered dessert. Warm, fine buns in coconut milk? It was a good dessert after the spicy rice. I thought that 1000 yen was cheap and recommended.
