Wako, Saitama, Japan｜Noodle House Kishin

On my quest to visit local ramen stores, I discovered seemingly the best non-chain place near wako station. There are two types of broth, light and deep chicken. The deep flavour was sold out in the evening so I had only one path to take. Despite the name, the light broth was full of flavour, with great umami. I ordered the special bowl with extra noodles (特選大盛り）which left me waddling around wako shortly afterwards. It came with two thick pieces of pork, a large piece of chicken and two chicken meatballs as well as an egg, bamboo and nori. If you've recently finished a hunger strike then that's the way to go. Full recommendation from me.
