I stopped by on my way home from work in my neighborhood. Sanchin ramen! In the past, it was used here and there, but in recent years it seems to have been included in the red list. I really used to go to Sanchin in Sengoku, Bunkyo Ward, and Sanchin near Takadanobaba... Places I'll never go to again, people I'll never see again, things I'll never be able to eat again. As you add more items, the number of things like that will increase. Aside from that, the ramen at this restaurant is cheap, but the great thing about it is that it has a parking lot. It's right behind the store, so I had no trouble parking. The time I visited was around 2pm, and there were about 3 groups of customers. First, purchase a meal ticket from the ticket vending machine and hand it to the person who appears to be the store owner at the counter. After a few minutes of waiting, the bowl of tonko ramen was served (it's tonkoku, not tonkotsu). Restaurants that use natural ingredients, low-temperature cooking, and carefully selected ingredients are good, but restaurants in this price range where you can taste well-prepared flavors are really good. It's got a mellow texture with a lot of layers, and there's definitely a premium on the image due to nostalgia, but even if you take that into account, I think it's a great store!
Tonko ramen for the first time in several years, green onion chashu topped with flavored egg and lots of garlic. It was delicious.
