Kamotei is a true hidden gem. Everything was perfect, from the staff who greeted us and served our meals, to the amazing dishes. Their duck is incredible. We felt the staff was very accommodating and even with minor language barriers we managed to make it a beautiful experience. They went above and beyond to make it so. Last but not least, the design of the place is stunning. Elegance and personality galore. We look forward to going back.

I stopped by on my way to work, and since it was around 11:30, I was able to sit down right away. As it is a popular restaurant, it is fully booked and there are customers lining up at 12:00. Since duck is said to be a beauty meat, I felt that there were many female customers. I ordered the duck steamer set. There is also rice sprinkled with cheese and served with duck soup, which is said to be eaten like a risotto. This is also delicious. As you can see in the photo, the duck soup contains lots of green onions that go well with duck. In addition to duck meat (thigh), it also contained duck violet, and the flavor of duck fat was also present. The fact that we were able to attract customers with just the duck menu means that the deliciousness of duck was recognized. It was a feast.
