It seems better to go 10 minutes before opening to get in on your first round. There were quite a lot of solo customers, and in the first round, 4 groups were solo customers. I chose today's recommended lunch set E (rouleau rice) for 1,250 yen. Every lunch set comes with 3 xiao long bao. This xiaolongbao is very authentic. The skin is thin and thoroughly steamed in a steamer, so it tastes just as good as the ones I had in Taiwan. However, as someone else wrote, it wasn't so hot that it would burn you, but when you ate it, it was just warm and had a lukewarm feel. Well, the taste is usually delicious. The ginger and other condiments make the xiao long bao delicious, just like the real thing. And, while the pork rice is certainly delicious, I felt like it was somehow adapted for Japanese customers rather than a faithful reproduction of the authentic dish. The taste was just so delicious.
