Tokorozawa, Saitama, Japan｜Yayoiken

It's close to my house so I go there 2-3 times a year. No matter where I go to Yayoiken, I always order the ``stir-fried meat and vegetable set meal'' with 16-grain rice instead. I haven't been there for over half a year, but it feels nice unlike Matsuya.

Chive liver & fried chicken set meal. It's been a long time since I last had a hearty meal, but the dashi chazuke served at the end made me feel refreshed after the meal.

I went there on a weekday when it was empty a little before lunch. The restaurant had a calm atmosphere, the food came out quickly, and the staff was very friendly. As 12 o'clock rolls around, the number of people coming from nearby companies for lunch increases dramatically. If you want to eat in peace, maybe you should take it off at lunchtime?
