More Comments at Google MapIt’s a Din Tai Fung, what’s not to love between their consistently solid food offerings and great service? We were able to dine at this branch without too crazy of a wait, thankfully. After we received our numbers we shopped briefly and returned in time to be seated. As usual we can recommend their classic soup dumplings (xiaolongbao / 小籠包) both regular and truffle, plus basically everything on the menu! I’ve also been a huge fan of their desserts, including their lava baos and their sticky rice red bean cakes which I don’t recall having before this trip. Worth the visit, especially if you come with a small group and can avoid or minimize your wait time.
the food was absolutely delicious. definitely suits the tastebuds of someone who prefers blander, lighter food. the prawns are fresh! and the tea is complimentary. so refreshing to see the same dishes cooked in a different way from what i have in my country, but the taste didn’t disappoint nonetheless.
There’s always a long wait with this place so come with some patience. They’re open at 11a.m. so I would recommend coming around then to get a number for a table. Any later then 11:30 or 12:00 prepare to wait a bit longer. It’ll start to get pack with people waiting. Their service is always on point and food’s good and tasty. You can never go wrong with their xiao long bao and pork chop fried rice. Their sweet and sour spare rib’s pretty good too. The side dishes are a bit small so if you have a big group get two of each. It’s not a cheap place to eat so prepare to spend some money if you’re planning on ordering a lot of thing’s to try. There’s also plenty of shops near by so you can shop around while you wait for your number to be called. If you’ve never been, it’s worth trying.
