I think you can use it without reservations most of the time outside of the year-end party and New Year's party seasons. It's a much cheaper place than a typical izakaya. Also, if you use it during lunch time, you can have a cheap lunch, and after 1 o'clock you will get a free drink.

It was better than the Chinese restaurant on the first floor of the building next door. I didn't notice it because it was on the 4th floor, but it was a hidden gem.
