Shiki, Saitama, Japan｜蕎麦処 大鷹

Our friend arranged for an omakase meal at the restaurant. It was the best meal we had during our trip to Japan. The owners (husband & wife team) were so gracious. The food was so delicious. No scraps. All was consumed. The meat dishes prepared with tofu, vegetables in soup, sauce and sometimes evenly fried is heavenly, to say the least. The environment is cosy. My wife and I (we are from Singapore) enjoyed the meal so much that if we have the chance, we will come back again. Our friend brought us to the restaurant by train from Ikebokuru (less than an hour) with a short car ride.

Visited on a hot day just before the hottest day. I got cold soba noodles. Chilled nuki soba, mini curry bowl, and sudachi soba. It was perfect for lunch on a hot day. The soba noodles had a firm texture. And there is no doubt about the soba restaurant's curry. In addition, I had a delicious meal in a restaurant with a good atmosphere.

The warm service and the food are very personable and delicious. Exactly the same material, even if it is made from russet I think the taste will change depending on the person who makes it. I went with my family this time and it was a big hit. Japanese sake is also available Sipping sake alone on the wasabi knob It was a shop that made me want to eat a colander and go home.
