Bunkyo City, Tokyo, Japan｜Shilingol

It's my first time trying Mongolian food and this place was amazing! We ordered the set meal that was for Mongolian beginner and every dish was really good. The portions were large and we almost didn't finish our food.

During my first trip in Japan this year 2017, I run into this authentic Mongolian restaurant. It is a rare find in Tokyo, Bunkyo area. This place served great mutton meat . The owner is extremely knowledgeable about Mongolian food and the also accompanied by a chef from Mongolia. I am impressed by the service. He can speak Japanese, Chinese and English. During the meal, the Mongolian chef takes break to perform traditional Mongolian music. It is a wonderful experience to enjoyed great food along with lovely music. I find myself dinning in middle of Mongolia Great plain. No words can describe such experience. Highly recommended this restaurant. The owner has also been to USA and is very informative about his dishes. Great time and exceptional service!!!!!!

My friends and I had the 4000 Yen course menu. It was so much food we barely managed to eat it all. The food comes out fast. It was all very tasty and unique. They have a short live performance every night, during which the chef/owner performs traditional mongolian songs. Overall, I have nothing but praise for this place. I'll be back.
