This is a Japanese restaurant with a long history located behind Matsuya, just outside Ginza Subway Station. The curtains are inscribed with calligraphy by many literary figures, including Matsutaro Kawaguchi. The building has three floors, and when I asked for a private room this time, I was directed to the second floor. It was comfortable because it was a horigotatsu. By the way, I heard that the third floor is a tea room. The meal started with appetizers, followed by two sashimi dishes, three dishes including Okada tea bowl, which has been a dish since the company's founding, millet wheat dengaku, and grilled dishes, Shamo hotpot made with Tokyo Shamo, rice porridge made with Shamo hotpot stock, and pickled vegetables. When we informed them at the time of reservation that we were having fruit for dessert and that it was a celebratory table, they also served sekihan (sekihan) in addition to the course! I’m impressed 😀 As for drinks, I thought the beer was a large bottle of Sapporo Black Label, and the sake was only Kikumasamune barrel sake, which I thought was impressive. I had the Kikumasamune at room temperature, and the aroma of the barrel was very nice. Thank you for the meal😄

after 18:00 on Saturday. Customers are shy due to Corona, but infection prevention was perfect. The store is clean and has a Japanese style that suits your taste. For the time being, I was very satisfied with the famous Okada tea bowl and Ageshinjo. I want to go again.

Even Japanese don't often eat monkfish hot pot, but I took three Americans with me. I dared to ask for a Japanese-style room with tatami mats, and I ate a lot of delicious food and drank so much sake! My butt seemed to hurt... (laughs)
