This is the place to go if you love oysters as I do. If you’re there for lunch the “kaki fry” (fried oyster) set is a must. As I also love them raw , I had to get a side order of raw oysters which were fantastic.

I found service (one waitress spoke fluent english) excellent. Oyster soup was amazing.

Kanawa in Hiroshima is a restaurant where you can enjoy high-quality oyster dishes on an oyster boat floating on the river near the Atomic Bomb Dome. I looked down on it from the hotel and wanted to go there at least once. Of course, this Ginza restaurant also has expensive dishes, but lunch is easily available at around 1,000 yen even on weekends. I highly recommend the fried oysters. The set includes delicious fried oysters and oyster rice. The fried oysters are small but delicious. The oyster rice is light. It's nice to be able to enjoy it in a calm semi-private room.
