Sumida City, Tokyo, Japan｜Chanko Kirishima

While in Tokyo from California we visited with a local, nice part of town, it was just next to the train station. We had the fixed meal such the Sumo wrestlers have. Food was excellent, fish was very fresh. Soup base was awesome as was all the food we had. The service we received was also excellent. I have never had known of this type of food. So glad to have been taken here.

Great delicious Chanko Nabe. Food is fresh and flavourful. If you really want to experience the food that Sumo Wrestler eats, then this is the place. Great place for even large groups, and not that expensive.

For Sumo fans, eating Chanko Nabe in this place is highly recommended ! The food is delicious, the service is very nice, and the restaurant is heavily decorated with Sumo theme. One huge bonus is when you eat at their top floor you can directly see the legendary Ryogoku Sumo Stadium building.
