More Comments at Google MapDefinitely recommend! The professional service by 龍平-san was superb from start to finish, he even spoke very fluent english! Came here to celebrate my mother's birthday and he even gave us hot tea to stall for time before the cake came, great thinking! Not to mention the quality of food was very brilliant. The pork cutlet was crispy and tender with a side of mustard and cream which was the perfect combination. The shabu shabu meat texture and flavour was very delicious as well. Worth the price point!!
This place is highly recommended because firstly, the food is damn good and secondly, it's located on the 10th floor of Ginza Glasse building but it is very popular during dinner hour. Without any reservation, we just walked straight in around 5.30pm-6.00pm. Lucky for us, there was no reservations at that time but we had to vacate our table by 7.30pm which was perfectly fine with us. YES!! To our luck, we were seated next to the windows overlooking Ginza strip. It felt so romantic and excited at the same time. They do employ Chinese-speaking staffs for easier ordering and recommending of food. ◾Thus atmospheric restaurant specialises in the heavenly Kurobuta pork, also known as Berkshire pork in the West. It signals to a very good dinner for me as this breed makes juicy and savoury slice of meat. ◾As this is Ginza area, price-wise is a bit high but it made up with excellent food quality. ◾we ordered a set of Kurobuta pork shabu-shabu and it was served with a basket of enoki mushroom & some greens. ◾The highlight will be the soup - I asked what was their soup made of and was surprised when they said "we just use plain water and Japanese leek as the base". True enough, it has the sweetness from the leek and we took a quick dip of the pork into the soup, and then into the soba filing sauce.. oh my gosh it was a good way to savour the nature sweetness of the pork. Other dipping sauces were also available at extra charge and I chose ponzu sauce.. refreshing alternative to try the pork. ◾Grilled Kurobuta belly with salt & pepper - when it comes to such a good pork, no marination is needed.. simply seasoned with salt & pepper and you would still experience orgasm ◾my perfect night was complement by two things - 1) a glass of premium Kirin dark beer and 2) the most beautiful companion one could ever ask for ◾The awesome creme brulee summarised our dinner and provided us with a sweet ending ◾The most popular dish on the menu will be their all-you-can-eat Kurobuta shabu-shabu (for 2 hours, about 4000 yen) but only available during weekends and public holiday so do plan your time wisely. Rabu Ginza Glasse as said earlier is located on the 10th floor of a building and it's broad windows offer amazing views over glitzy Ginza especially at night. One word of advise - this shabu-shabu restaurant is very popular place, hence reservation for dinner is strongly recommended.
