It is a Japanese restaurant in the garden hotel. It was a lunch meeting with a friend after a long absence. It was a hot day, but the water flow was beautiful and refreshing to the eyes. The food was delicious and my friends loved it too. It is a shop that you want to visit every season.
Used for lunch alone on weekdays. This Japanese restaurant is located on the 1st floor of the Niwa Hotel, a few minutes walk from JR Suidobashi Station. The Western restaurant at the same hotel seems to be more popular, but I couldn't get a reservation, so I came here. It is a small restaurant with 4 tables for 4 people and 2 tables for 2 people. For lunch, there were three courses to choose from, and I chose the middle price, the Ichishun Gosai Course, priced at 2,800 yen. You can choose meat or fish for your main dish, and I choose the fish dish. On this day, it was grilled white fish with black vinegar. There was a wide variety of drinks, including non-alcoholic ones. Regional craft beer, shochu, and of course sake. When I ordered the sake comparison set (1,300 yen), I was surprised to find it paired with a large sake cup. On this day, three types of cold sake were prepared from Shimane, Niigata, and Saga prefectures, and all were refreshing drinks perfect for summer. The food looked beautiful, had a reasonable amount, was well prepared, and was delicious. If you ordered the same menu at a luxury hotel in Tokyo, it would probably cost at least 6,000 yen. It has an overwhelming cost performance. Above all, finding a restaurant with such a quiet and calm atmosphere in the Suidobashi area is extremely rare. It's truly a hidden gem shop. The customer service of the shop staff was also very friendly and courteous, which left a good impression on me. I would like to invite my dear friends to visit me again.
