It all depends on what you expect from eating or dining. This is a restaurant with the history and you’re not supposed to be looking for Michelin three-star atmosphere and services. However what you can get is atmosphere of a casual, yet tasty dining in the central area of Ginza where the most expensive luxury shops are located. This place has been around for long time and recommended by those people who work around here, as well as people come here for so long time. For lunch, casual set menu. For dinner nice steak end decent wine.

Went on a weekday just as they opened at 11:30am because I heard there are queues (I hate queues). Got a seat immediately. Service was very prompt and efficient, and there was an English menu. For 1000yen, I got the mentaiko omuraisu that for lunch came with a free mug of soup (DELISH!! I think it was some kind of mushroomy consomme?). You also get to choose one protein from a list of options, to add on to your dish - I chose hambagu. Everything was SO GOOD. The texture of the omelette was on point and the rice was rich (but the crunch of the onion inside helped cut through it somewhat).

good one-person per portion- flavours are really delicious and everything was reasonably priced in relation to the rest of Ginza’s more well known eateries
