This time, again, I had to rely on Google, but I found out about Pole Position, which is attached to Tokorozawa Driving School, when I visited it several times. Even though I found it, it is located at the north exit rotary of Sayamagaoka Station, so I think many people who use Sayamagaoka Station will know about it. I didn't know what kind of store it was, so I just passed by. This year marks the 20th anniversary of the restaurant's opening, but it was so delicious that I regret having never been there before. What caught my attention from the reviews here was the hamburger steak. The homemade demi-glace sauce and hamburger steak looked delicious, so I ordered the hamburger set (¥1,350). To be honest, when I ordered it, I thought it was a little expensive, but after eating it, my impression changed and I thought it was cheap. As per the handwritten instructions on the wall, I ordered and waited for nearly 30 minutes. During that time, the course was served as follows: soup -> homemade bread -> salad -> hamburger -> drink. The first thing that surprised me was the soup. It's a potato potage soup, but it's not just a potage, it has ginger in it. The spiciness of ginger gives it an accent similar to black pepper. At the same time, the fresh ginger scent gave off a lemon-like flavor, which felt strange, but it was extremely delicious. There was no harsh or bitter taste from the ginger, which was a good thing. Bread and butter was then served. It looked freshly grilled, but I held off on eating it until the hamburger arrived. What surprised me was the cut of the bread. The edges are clear. You can't cut freshly grilled food like this without a very sharp knife. The salad was just lettuce and cabbage with a dressing similar to Aurora sauce. And as you can see from the photo, the long-awaited hamburger steak looks beautiful. Demi-glace sauce is a demi-glace sauce that is a little thick, but has a light texture. The hamburger was thick, and the surface was well-grilled and well-shaped. When I cut one bite with a knife, the meat juices overflowed, and the combination of the demi-glace sauce and the meat juices created a synergistic effect of deliciousness. When I took a bite, it was delicious and reminded me of a hamburger steak. I couldn't tell if it was pork or beef, so I think it was probably minced meat. There was no meaty smell or taste, and it was delicious. However, the thing that deserves special mention is the demi-glace sauce. This is a masterpiece, considering the amount of time and effort it took to write the instructions by hand. I don't think it's good table manners, but it was really delicious when I ate it with the demi-glace sauce on the bread. Hamburger steaks are delicious and I eat them right away, so by dipping them in bread, I felt like they were delicious again. The grilled vegetables that came with it were also delicious with a concentrated flavor and sweetness. Every time I cut a bite of hamburger, I dipped it in demi-glace sauce. The demi-glace sauce was so delicious that I wanted to lick the plate if I didn't have to worry about people watching. As expected, I felt that it was a flavor that only owner-chef Uchida could create. I was impressed by the work of a “chef.” Since this is an Italian restaurant, they also sell fresh pasta, so I would definitely like to try the fresh pasta next time. Please note that we only accept cash payments.
A nostalgic western restaurant. Demi-glace sauce with red wine is excellent. Salad with apple scented dressing is also delicious. Hijiki also fits. The hors d'oeuvres are delicious with sea bream escabeche. The marinade is perfect. Mousse is also soy and broccoli. The soybean flavor is stronger than Japanese tofu. Dolce is fascinated by the technique of tempering, and the peanut ice cream is delicious with a rich flavor. I don't really like coffee. However, the service is good, and if you make a reservation, the course that costs 1600 yen is recommended. Cospa is good. I want steak to be a course because it's good as a plus.
