Hubby took me there for my birthday. First time trying Scandinavian cuisine. The ingredients are fresh and nicely matched. The fish dishes are unexpectedly delicious and authentic. Their Icelandic lamb is very unique and beautifully roasted. Not gamey at all. The pudding is also very tasty. Recommend to anyone who wants to try Scandinavian food.

The Swedish restaurant, Allt Gott, is near the center of Kichijoji and very easy to find. It's not such a big place (2nd floor), but the atmosphere is nice with Swedish decor. The dishes are quite good (Swedish chef) and the menu offers some interesting items: Swedish meat balls, pickled herring, various cooked fish and shrimp, salads, etc. with Swedish wines and beer. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the prices are a bit high. Last year, on Christmas Eve, we thought it appropriate to try the reindeer steak. It was a bit small, but very soft and tasty. I thought it might have best been served with a maraschino cherry on top so I could feel I was eating Rudolph. Anyway, I recommend Allt Gott for something different and delicious.
