One of the best value meals in Tokyo. A huge steaming pile of tasty pork ginger with fried chicken to add. This protein feast is heartily recommended after a good swim at Komaba pool. Always enjoy a friendly chat with the hardworking owner. A smile welcomes customers and a warm 行ってらしゃい greets passers by ! Just be sure to get there before the rice runs out (usually around 8pm).

Nankai’s is our favorite Japanese curry in Tokyo! It is a cozy restaurant where the friendly owner/chef Nankai serves delicious home cooked meals. We are so glad to have found it, we went almost every week.

Love the simple but hearty offering of black curry katsu meals. Many students and locals visit and it's a very friendly environment.
