The food was really high quality. Went on a weekday evening, Tuesday and was shocked that the entire restaurant was empty. Chef came out to greet us and even taught us how to savour the meat. We didn’t expect much because we were taught that empty restaurant = bad food. To our surprise, the katsu was tender, juicy and nicely crisped on the outside. Everything was cooked to perfection! Price is on the higher end so I can understand it’s not for everyone.

My husband and I went there for lunch on Sunday. We love tonkatsu but this restaurant brought our love of tonkatsu to a new level! I ordered the ribs and my husband ordered the loin. When the katsu came out, the chef came out as well to explain the proper way to savour the tonkatsu. The meat was tender and flavourful and it just melts in your mouth. Definitely going back there. They also have an English menu.
