The atmosphere of the place and the food were excellent. The cacio e pepe was delicious, and so was the steak. The steak tasted a bit gamey, but it was still good. I can't remember if there is an english menu (i think there is) but regardless it was very foreigner friendly and lovely to eat at! We also got the tiramisu which was delicious as well. Prices were very affordable for how nice it was!

Stumbled into this small Italian joint around one of the streets in Koenji. Didn't expect much so we were wildly surprised. Table charge got us crostini and what appeared to be homemade pickles drizzled with olive oil - really delicious. We got that il doge carbonara and the staff was nice enough to split the serving in two bowls (really generous portions for the pork belly too,!!) Another favorite was the liver pate. Don't miss out on this spot when in the area.
