Shinjuku City, Tokyo, Japan｜Hamburg Will

We really enjoyed our dinner at Hamburg Will, our last meal in Japan before heading home. We were able to book a table for 2 the day before and loved the little reserve sign they put on the table. The staff were very friendly and helpful - we ordered the gristle hamburg with mozzarella (mozzarella was inside the hamburg) and cream mustard sauce, the bacon hamburg with Yuzu pepper sauce and the gratin of shrimp! All were so delicious! Unfortunately I didn't take a photo of the gristle hamburg. We also ordered the custard pudding and grape ice cream (with the grape ice cream from the specials menu) for dessert. We preferred the ice cream over the custard pudding. We'd definitely love to come again next time we visit Japan!

Wanted to try the foie gras hamburg but it was sold out. Went for the 200g mozzarella with mustard cream sauce and it was so amazing! Juicy and had right amount of sauce and seasoning. The pork is noticeably of good quality. Also tried the Demi glacé sauce and it was nice too. Salad was all right, but nothing special just order if you need to eat your veggies. The service was so warm and welcoming and I would definitely come back! Be sure to make a reservation so you don’t have to wait.

I am not a fan of burger meat, but I have to admit, the ambiance of this restaurant is so show really heart-warming and relaxing, and the dishes don’t disappoint! The waiter is also adorable.
