The owner operator kindly translated the menu to English as soon as we sat down. It was the best chicken Katsu I've ever had. The atmosphere was cosy and welcoming with a live baseball game playing and many old manga to look through.

Great food great atmosphere

A set meal restaurant with a Showa feel. I don't think people who like shops that are old and stylish, both inside and out, will come here. The shop owner, who is about 80 years old, runs the shop by himself and only accepts cash payments, but he is sociable and interesting. There are also quite a few regular customers. Inside the store, the TV is always on, and people born in the Showa era probably find that style irresistible. Although the taste is not particularly delicious, you can enjoy a set meal at a reasonable price that even students can afford. The customer base ranges from students to office workers. Personally, I think it would be nice if they could make improvements to make the cold drinks a little colder.
