Stumbled upon the cafe on Google Maps and saw that they had some great Japanese Western food. Climbing up to the third floor of the building, you need to first write your name on a paper and wait for your name to be called. I had 6 groups in front of me and it was around a 20 minute wait. Once you place your orders, I was pleasantly surprised that a bread basket is offered. The staff inform you of the various types of breads available. There's spinach, carrot, walnut and cheese, raisin, plain, and orange peel to choose from. There's also whipped butter to go with it. I thought the carrot bread was fairly interesting and I was reminded of creamy carrot soup. I loved the walnut and cheese bread for its texture. The staff come around with the bread basket almost every 5 minutes. Same with the iced water. This was very good service! My main of the beef curry with rice (¥1800) was pretty good. The curry had a certain hint of spice which provided a good dip for the breads. The beef was relatively tender as well. I also had a side salad and some pickles to eat with the curry. The best part of this dining experience is that after sampling all the bread, you can find loaves of those breads for the sale on the first floor.

I visited Ginza Kimuraya’s western restaurant in late March and I loved it. The restaurant serves western dishes with an unlimited supply of bread. I ordered beef stew on my last visit and tried a lot of their bread as well. The stew is a bit sour but very tasty when you eat it with bread. Their service is excellent. They will come once in a while with a basket of bread to see if you want any. As the restaurant is located on the 3rd floor, their window seat is perfect for having the street view of Ginza. Overall, it is a very good restaurant that I highly recommend.

It is above a nice bakery with delicious bread. You get free flow of various type of bread so you'll definitely have enough to eat. The mains offered for lunch are pretty good as well. Had lunch with some drinks and dessert and bill seemed very reasonable for Ginza. The place is easy to enjoy for foreigners with an English menu and staff with good English.
