Food was extremely good and i enjoy the athmosphere of the restaurant. Service was also good and fast. Price was also super reasonable and cheap. Extremely good experience.

ginger pork small hamburger Weekdays 8pm. No line up. Located right next to Shintomicho Station. A long-established restaurant that opened in 1962 and was separated from Renga-tei, the originator of Western cuisine. I like the black demi-glace sauce, which is bitter but has a sweet and sour aftertaste, for hamburgers. The garni is also seasoned, so it's great with rice, but it's also great as a snack. The fragrant and tender ginger pork is probably seasoned with soy sauce, and I think it's probably a simple composition, but what makes it so delicious? It was perfectly grilled, retaining the sweetness of the onions. The corn soup included in the set is also delicious. I think this is a delicious restaurant no matter what you eat. Thank you to the master and the landlady (I think) for not giving me any bad looks when I asked about the menu. was delicious! I'll come back later. It was a feast.

It's been a while since I've had a good curry. European-style curry is definitely best eaten at a Western restaurant. Renga-tei in Shintomicho is a long-established store that was separated from its Ginza main store more than 60 years ago. It's separated by noren, so it's the same sign but a different kitchen and recipe. I arrived at the store at 8:00 pm after work, and it was tucked away in an alley in Shintomi-cho. The restaurant was about half full, and when I told them there was only one person, the master told me to take a table in the back, and I was seated. The interior of the store has a retro Showa era feel, and the walls are decorated with photos of professional baseball players from yesteryear, giving you a sense of history. The cash register table next to the entrance, the counter on the right hand side, and the back kitchen. The table on the left is about 30 tsubo, which is relatively compact. As is typical of a famous restaurant, there is only one person in the hall, but there are three people in the kitchen, one main chef and two support staff. Looking at the menu, you'll find a wide selection of typical Western dishes, as well as course menus, making it a restaurant perfect for anniversaries, couples, and families alike. D Assorted hamburger & fried shrimp for 1,800 yen and beef curry for 900 yen First of all, from the corn potage and salad, you can tell that they are working hard on the soup. It has a distinct sweet potato flavor, is rich, and has a smooth texture. The hamburger is 150 grams. The rich and slightly sour demi-sauce is cooked medium-rare, firm on the outside but still pink on the inside. It's juicy and delicious too. The fried shrimp may be small, but it's packed with flavor and the skill of frying is just as expected. The sauces such as rabbit horn, dressing, tartar sauce, and demi sauce that complement the main ingredients are all delicious. By the way, Renga-tei is famous for being the birthplace of pork cutlets, so-called tonkatsu, but I like the fact that they don't put too much emphasis on that. And the beef curry was exquisite. A classic European-style roux that combines well-cooked root vegetables such as onions and ginger, herbs, and spices with a sticky and silky texture. A delicious curry with a slightly smoky flavor that is more umami than spicy and goes well with fluffy rice. This is too good to be true. I would like to try the seafood curry next time. Just thinking about adding the flavor of shrimp and squid to this makes it so delicious. At the main store in Ginza, I had the impression that it was too ordinary, but I thought the taste was clearly better here, separated by noren. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal. Will definitely visit again.
