I love this place!! The owners are very welcoming and friendly, the lunch-staff speaks English, and the katsudon is out of this world! It has a very traditional Japanese feel. I highly recommend.

Mommy saw it in the newspaper and wanted to go, so we wandered around Ningyocho😛 Lucky to get in right when it opens 🌠 There are two table seats on the first floor, and there is also a second floor, so you have to take off your shoes and go up the stairs. Mummy has bad knees so it was good for her to be on the first floor 🎵 Lunch was served in an atmosphere that felt like visiting a private home, and although it wasn't relaxing, it was delicious. Share omelet rice & small minced meat and crab cake🐣🦀🐷 Both have a somewhat comforting taste, but the crab yakimeshi has a perfect amount of salt, which you won't be able to make at home! Mmmm! I looked Mommy in the eye and groaned🤤 The trio of office workers who came later ordered katsudon😊

I've been interested in this store for a long time, so I decided to give it a try. First of all, I liked the atmosphere of the store! It feels like the good old Showa era. I ordered hayashi rice and salad! Hayashi rice was perfect for my taste! The crab salad was also delicious, but I thought it would be unsatisfactory unless I ordered another side dish, so next time I'll order a lot and eat until I'm full!
