Kunitachi, Tokyo, Japan｜Rōjina Sabō

My wife (Japanese) went to this restaurant 25 plus years ago while she worked as museum paintings conservator of Japanese Historical paintings. She was so impressed with the food at that time. Also the reason my wife recommended this restaurant to me: I am French from France and also French Canadian from Quebec Canada. This is both the food from France and French Quebec, Canada. Yes, I fluently understand and speak French, if you are wondering. My last name Picotin is 100% French from France and Quebec Canada. Inside the restaurant it was extremely relaxing atmosphere. I felt I was in France or Quebec Canada. The food was well prepared, excellent high quality, bacon that reminded me of Canadian bacon, seafood was abundant, cheese was perfect and etc. My family was totally 100% satisfied and 100% will go again many times again. I felt so comfortable in this restaurant. Thank you!

I had seafood curry with salad set. The curry was mildly spicy and had surprising amount of oyster and shrimps.

I love this place. It's 60+ years old and they use Western style bread for their sandwiches, not the soft Japanese fluffy bread. Prices might be a little higher than other cafes, but they give you a huge portion and quality ingredients. You can get parmesan cheese or Tabasco sauce, simple Italian dressing for your salad. Thus cafe is a local favourite so it has a very chill vibe and mixed clientele - university students, elderly people, some families. A must visit in Kunitachi.
