Quiet cafe in the corner of a busy street, simple menu which is a welcome change from having to choose from too many options. The ambience is lovely and the food is always fresh and very tasty. Useful to remember that this restaurant only takes cash.

Just thought I’d try something vegetarian around the area and stumbled upon this wonderful place. Perfect reception, kind owners, can’t say nothing else. Unfortunately I arrived late so I missed the lunch menu so decided to have chocolate and coffee ☕️ and I wasn’t wrong. I’d definitely make this a regular shop anytime am around Hachioji Station.

I went on a weekday at noon. Actually, I should have ordered lunch, but I really wanted to try Japanese chestnut pudding, so I ordered the Japanese chestnut pudding set. The staff told me that it contained rum. I was able to sit at the counter next to the wall, and was able to enjoy it in a very calm manner. It's nice to have chopped chestnuts in the marron cream. The tea in the set is like black tea, Hatomugi? was. Next time, I would like to enjoy lunch as well.
