More Comments at Google MapIt's been years since last I was in a Kohikan, and I am pleased to report it exceeded my expectations in this new location. The green tea cake was very nice, much heavier and richer than I expected, and the coffee, made with charcoal roasted beans, was quite tasty, once I added milk - straight was just a little too bitter to me. My wife had the Christmas pancakes with white chocolate and cheese sauce, which was also very nice. Social distance is well maintained with dividers between the counter seats, and most seats have power sockets. There's also free wi-fi, but you have to ask for the password - take note that if it's the same as when I was there it's in upper case.
The other day, when I went to Tokyo for the first time in 10 years, I stayed at a hotel in my hometown of Hachioji. For breakfast, I went to a coffee shop that I had researched in advance. At first I thought the bread was bigger than I expected, but when I tried it, it wasn't that much, just the right amount. It was delicious with plenty of butter. I think the balance is good with scrambled eggs, ham and salad. I like iced coffee with a lot of bitterness and a little sourness, and it suits my taste. It's a space that was remodeled from the former Sogo department store, so I can't say it's a perfect score. I thought the service was good.
It's quiet, relaxing and relaxing. Coffeekan Cheesecake has a unique taste that hasn't changed since ancient times, and I really recommend it.
