Authentic old cafe with very friendly master. The master deals with every order by himself and explains which coffee is suitable for me. The vibe is wonderful and there are many regular customers.

A cafe near Tsunashima station and 3 min walking from Tsurumi River. You can enjoy great coffee and tea in a perfect traditional atmosphere. The owner is so nice and helpful. They also have sandwiches and breakfast sets. You should definitwly visit!

I am really liking this place lately. Very cool throwback kissaten decor, like falling into a movie where people are just drinking coffee. The shop seems to be open from 10am till 11pm or so every day. It's just the owner, he's a very sweet guy and seems to be constantly moving. Whenever I'm there, all I can think is: this guy must fall asleep every night the second his head hits the pillow. Service is very attentive, real omotenashi. Anyhow. The coffee is good. I'm not an expert. The 'morning set' is a great deal: toast with butter and jam, boiled egg, a salad the size of your thumbnail, and coffee. Additional cups of coffee are slightly discounted. A lot of people seem to eat here. It can be a little smoky, but it just varies depending who's there at the moment. Lots of regulars, but turnover is steady, I've never not been able to sit down. On the other hand, if you want to hang out and read or study, that seems to be okay too. Uh, no wi-fi. Recommend, I shall return.
