This cafe is located inside the hotel. It has a very relaxing atmosphere and a wide range of coffees and sandwiches.

I loved this cafe. The atmosphere is fantastic, the coffee is great, and the food was pretty good - the sandwich was a little soggy since it was made a while before I ordered it, but besides that it was tasty. They have heated floors which is a nice touch in winter. I’ll be back again.

The cafe belongs to a ryokan(?). Based on foreigners photos on the wall, I can say it is a place for tourists. The cafe is located at the weird part of Ikebukuro (West) where there are a lot of so called “love hotels”. I guess it would take around 8-10 minutes to walk from Ikebukuro North West exit (20a or 20b). Now why does it have so many good reviews? Because food is very good. Sandwich and coffee were very delicious. Also, decoration is quite nice. When is the last time you saw an English muffin with boiled egg and minced meat in Tokyo? Food taste and portion size are quite good. Coffee is very good. What you see in the photo costed around 1450 yen. I liked the sandwich better than the one from Raccines Farm. However, location is weird. I recommend here, if you are around.
