A somewhat discreet, but very popular and welcoming basement café. Highly recommended to drink/eat in here. By the famous shop owner’s mastery in running the busy place as well as his excellent coffee and pie making, a coffee pastime can become something exceptionally fun and tasteful. Though as the first comers, really enjoyed the modern-tasted coffee alongside the specialty brown apple pies. Thanks!

Came by on a late rainy afternoon, closed to the closing time as I was looking for a place to spend some time while waiting for the sun to set. It is a coffee place and the shop is offering 2 types of desserts - tarte tatin and cream cheesecake. For first timer, the owner will make some recommendation. A good place to spend some quiet time alone (I don't speak Japanese), the music playing in the background reminds me of the old American movies during war time. The owner is a very friendly guy and you can hear him talking to other patrons (Japanese). I had the blended coffee as suggested by the owner. Taste wise, it is something very personal that I can't speak for everyone, at least it is good enough for me. Owner maintains some social medias account and he will suggest that you follow him on the socmed but it is up to you to decide. Edited: I forgot to mentioned that the mobile connection may be weak in the shop but you may ask for Wifi if required.

Great coffee and nice atmosphere. We spent a wonderful afternoon and enjoy the precious moment here.
