More Comments at Google MapQuiet, relaxing atmosphere. It’s a small café with only a few tables available. Kind personnel, great service. Different types of coffee available. Prices are to the expensive side, but the taste is good. Everyday there are different types of cakes available. I tried the chiffon cake and the scones, plus the anko toast. The anko, sweet read beans paste, toast was terrific. The bread was perfectly toasted, the paste inside was not too sweet and it had a very pleasant texture... and the cinnamon sprinkled on top added an extra note. Perfect. The chiffon cake was light, it tasted delicious, and it was served with some freshly whipped cream. The homemade scones were also great. Friable and buttery, not dry. The were served with jam and freshly whipped cream.
Very good coffee and pastries. We went there in the evening, very good atmosphere. The guy who served us was very friendly. Thanks again for this good moment.
I am not one to leave reviews. But this little coffee shop is a hell of a miss for coffee lovers. First and foremost, the location is in front one of the biggest Starbucks libraries in Tokyo which probably made a lot of tourists and visitors miss this magical place, but if you are a coffee lover or enthusiast like me, listen up! This place might not have all the cakes and ice cream tops as some of you probably love, but if a true coffee is what you’re after, or a good reading place, this place is Just for you. The owner Suzuki-San is not only nice and friendly, his world is coffee, and he takes it very seriously. You’ll find more varieties of coffee beans than you can taste and that he roasts most himself by hand, in an old Japanese machine, making every cup of coffee to perfection. Not only that I enjoyed he’s coffee, I had so many questions about the taste and style and he answered each and every one with a smile. For those of you who came to Japan for a culinary trip like me, and love to experience a good cup of coffee, you should know, a lot of Tokyo coffee shops take themselves seriously, but only a few, can achieve actual perfection.
