Suginami City, Tokyo, Japan｜Poppins Coffee and Tea

Stumbled upon this lovely cafe on my trip to Tokyo last month and I was so pleasantly surprised ! Firstly, the exterior and interior are both beautiful, the cafe has such a calm, vintage feeling with polished wood insides and a long bar that makes for the perfect environment to chat with customers and staff and bring joy to your day. The menu is perfectly simple, and everything we had was delicious. I recommend the buttered toast, egg and salad, all so tasty and flavourful but not overcomplicated. The food was so affordable too ! The highlight is the beautiful vintage teacup collection and the friendliness of the couple running the cafe who very kindly and patiently took my parents’ order who aren’t able to speak Japanese like me. I would absolutely recommend a stop here for breakfast, lunch or a snack at any time ! This place is such a cute small coffee shop. They have a very nice menu sample, not too big, not too small. the owner of the shop is so sweet as well as the vibe of the place just feels so homie.

Very cute place, nice tea and very good cinnamon toast. Amazing athmosphere. :)
