Chuo City, Tokyo, Japan｜Cafe Apple

In all honesty, particularly across the major cities in Asia, Japan is probably the only country where you will still find such, down to earth, old school cafes. Freshly brewed coffee (the owner grinds the beans upon order) and teas, lovely tarts and cakes, and a cozy interior. I love how all of the cups and sauces are arranged neatly on the shelves and the owner then takes one off of the shelf to serve you your beverage. Seats are limited so there may be a bit of a wait depending on the time of day.

A nice, little quaint cafe with an old school feel. The bar is nice with additional seating around the sides. Homemade sweets are on offer, and I tried the chestnut tart which was good, and not too sweet. The strong coffee is really strong, which I like, but be warned. The owner was super friendly. Nice spot to take a break.

Maybe my favourite cafe in Tokyo. Lovely couple of owners, delicious cakes, fantastic coffee, fair prices and a beautiful understated decor.
